Our Story

“And We have certainly made the Qur'an easy for remembrance,
so is there any who will remember?”
(Al-Qur’an 54:17)

We were brought together by our belief that the Qur’an was revealed not only to be recited and memorized but also to be understood, internalized, and reflected upon.

Our team of passionate creatives aim to captivate and enthrall hearts with visual media content that focuses on the relevance of the book of Allah to our lives.

Our core team comprises of talented film directors, storytellers, CG artists, audio composers, and creative professionals working together for the sake of Allah to produce content that we hope will captivate and touch hearts all around the world.

Why we do

We want young Muslims to build a personal relationship with the Qur’an. We aim not to preach, but to show them that the Qur’an is something they can always turn to for guidance and hope during the turbulent times of their lives.

We see a lack of wholesome visual media content that Muslim youth can consume both as a form of entertainment and a source of knowledge and guidance, and we aim to cover that vaccum. We strive to give the future generation something we wish we had when we were younger.

What we do

We’re focused on creating compelling short films/web series focusing on different aspects of life that will be relatable to the young generation. The films would be absolutely free of charge with free access to everyone.

Within the films, we will refer to specific verses of the Qur’an concerning different aspects of life. Using our “The Three Rs” production philosophy, we aim to compel the audience to know more about the referred verses on their own.

Step 1: Relatability

Viewers will be able to relate to the stories featured in the short films with incidents that happened in their own lives or in the life of someone they know (e.g. death of a loved one, struggle with mental illness), which in turn would trigger in them emotions associated with those incidents.

Step 2: Reference

The video will refer a verse of the Qur’an in connection to the story portrayed in the film so that the viewers can realize that Allah has spoken about the challenge or trial that they are facing in their own lives.

Step 3: Rediscovery

The viewers would then feel compelled to look up the verse of the Qur’an in order to learn more about what Allah has said about the challenge they are facing in their own lives. In this way, they will rediscover the Qur’an as a book that gives them hope and shows them the way to overcome their challenges in life.

An unique Ramadan is here this year and it has forced us to reflect on the state of our inner selves and wake up from our slumber of heedlessness, ignorance, and indifference to the sufferings of our ummah around the world.
